Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings Component Construction Company became a franchised builder for Butler
Manufacturing Company in 1970. Randy Haefli, Owner/CEO of Component, began
work for Butler Manufacturing Company, the world leader in production
of pre-engineered metal building components, upon graduation from Bradley
University with a degree in Building Construction. Randy was Rookie of
the Year and earned the prestigious Cup Club designation as a sales representative
for Butler. Growing up in a construction family, it was a natural progression
to become a Butler Builder before he turned 25. BSI has installed over 2 million square feet of MR-24 standing seam metal roofs, much in re-roof applications over older, leaking built-up roofs and obsolete metal roofs. With a light gage structural “build-up” system, BSI is able to re-roof schools, churches, manufacturing plants and retail business centers without disrupting production, daily activities or critical traffic flow. They build it right over the existing roof and eliminate future maintenance with a 20-year weather-tightness warranty.
